Thankyou for looking at this webpage. So what's the big deal about the 22nd November 2008?

On this day we will be having a celebration with the Knox Centre for their "Come Back to Knox" Family Fun Day starting in the afternoon. For more details, please click HERE!

Bayswater Bullets is approaching a major milestone of its 40th Anniversary. We are one of the foundation clubs within the Knox Little Athletics Centre and the very first day of competition was held on Saturday, 2nd November 1968 at the old Boronia High School oval. This was the first weekend after the Mexico Olympics had ended.

If you are an ex-Bayswater Athlete, Parent or Committee Member - or know of any, please email or phone your contact details so we can keep it on record.

29th March 1969. Sir Gib Chandler, the Federal Minister of Agriculture and Knox Centre Patron is seen here about to present the medals to the winning athletes in the Boys Under 10,  800 metres event at the Boronia High School oval. All three athletes had broken the Knox Centre U/10 Boys 800m record. The Silver Medallist at the rear is a Bayswater athlete wearing the original uniform of a Black Jacket and a Yellow Sash. The Gold medal winner in the centre is Dean Chandler of Rangeview, a grandson of Gib Chandler, from the early settler Boronia family. The Bronze Medallist closest to the camera is Stephen Egan from Fairpark, who today is the Secretary of Bayswater Bullets. Bayswater had won 18 Gold Medals in these Championships.

The 1969 Championships were held over three weekends due to competition had to be over by midday.
