At the beginning of the T&F season (or slightly before in some cases) a Relay coach is appointed for each age and gender group. The Relay coaches decide on the required training for their group and organises accordingly. Most relay training occurs at Knox Park and starts mid September. One of
the first , and arguably the most exciting, events in the Track & Field
season is Relays. Relays present a unique opportunity for athletes, that being
able to compete as part of the team. The Knox Little Athletics Centre has a
proud and successful history of competition in Relays. It is open to Under 9's
and older and you will be competing for the Knox Centre which would include team
mates from other Knox LAC clubs. Training is provided and ability is not important
as each age group will have multiple teams.
